Victoria Falls Marathon may be used as a qualifier for the COMRADES 2010 race.
According to Renee Jordan, of Comrades Committe, in an email received 4 August 2009, the Victoria Falls Marathon, taking place on 23 August 2009, may be used as a qualifying race for Comrades 2010. The Victoria Falls Marathon will be measured by an official from IAAF (Mr Willi Davids), and is being timed by Top Events. In order to qualify however, one must complete the 42.2km distance in under 5 hours. All results will be available on the vicfallsmarathon.com website two days after the event has been completed.
